Come and see SAXON, VENOM, TURBONEGER, BACKSTREET GIRLS and over 40 bands at Midgardsblot! Welcome to a four-day metal festival in the World of the Vikings, by the burial mounds at Borre in Horten. Four stages, a Viking village and markets, a festival camp on the beach, and people from all over the world!

Midgardsblot 2026 takes place from 12 to 15 August on historic Viking grounds at Borre in Horten, one hour south-west of Oslo, Norway.

The festival combines metal, rock, folk, Nordic music, rituals, living history and powerful cultural experiences in a truly unique setting – surrounded by burial mounds, woodland, the fjord and the Viking Great Hall at the Midgard Viking Centre.
